Mit gro\u00dfz\u00fcgiger Unterst\u00fctzung durch DMG MORI ist es der Hochschule Kempten gelungen, ein Digital Laboratory als Plattform zur B\u00fcndelung der Kompetenzen auf den Gebieten der Informatik und des Maschinenbaus aufzubauen. Zielsetzung der neu gegr\u00fcndeten Forschungseinrichtung \u2013 die am Freitag im Beisein des Bayerischen Staatsministers f\u00fcr Wissenschaft und Kunst, Bernd Sibler, er\u00f6ffnet wurde \u2013 ist die gemeinsame Entwicklung von innovativen Methoden, L\u00f6sungen und Softwareprogrammen f\u00fcr die digitale Transformation im Maschinenbau.<\/strong><\/p>

Digitale Technologien und Industrie 4.0 sind die Megatrends im Maschinenbau. Der Maschinen- und Anlagenbau ist eine deutsche Leitbranche. Zum einen ist er f\u00fcr alle Branchen Technologielieferant in Sachen Digitalisierung, denn er stellt vernetzte Maschinen und Anlagen zur Verf\u00fcgung. In diesem Zusammenhang m\u00fcssen die deutschen Maschinenbauer eigene Software-Kompetenzen sowie digitale Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle auf- und ausbauen. Zum anderen ist er selbst von der Digitalisierung und Vernetzung innerhalb eigener Arbeits- und Gesch\u00e4ftsprozesse betroffen. An diesen beiden Hauptstr\u00e4ngen setzen die Vorhaben des Digital Laboratorys der Hochschule Kempten an, das die Disziplinen Maschinenbau und Informatik mit der Industrie vernetzt.<\/p>

In einer von au\u00dfen recht unscheinbaren Lagerhalle auf dem Firmengel\u00e4nde Saurer Allma in Kempten entstand in den letzten Monaten ein hochmodernes Forschungslabor, das sich der kreativen und experimentellen Erprobung neuer Technologien, wie beispielweise k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz, sowie der Organisation eines Dialogs zum Austausch und Transfer von Erfahrungen, Wissen und Erkenntnissen mit der Industrie und der interessierten \u00d6ffentlichkeit widmet.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>

Im neu gegr\u00fcndeten Digital Lab findet anwendungsnahe Forschung f\u00fcr eine erfolgreiche digitale Transformation im Maschinenbau statt. Wissenschaftler arbeiten gemeinsam mit Studierenden und Industriepartnern wie dem Innovationsf\u00fchrer DMG MORI in interdisziplin\u00e4ren Teams an spannenden Themen wie K\u00fcnstliche Intelligence, Augmented Reality und Internet of Things (IoT)<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

erkl\u00e4rt Dr. Stefan Wind, einer der beiden wissenschaftlichen Leiter und Professor an der Fakult\u00e4t Informatik.<\/p>

Die dadurch erzielte Durchl\u00e4ssigkeit zwischen Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft ist ein entscheidender Faktor f\u00fcr das Engagement von DMG MORI und seinem im Allg\u00e4u ans\u00e4ssigen Tochterunternehmen, der Deckel Maho Pfronten GmbH. DMG MORI \u00fcbernahm den Innenausbau des Labors und stellt f\u00fcr die Forschungsaktivit\u00e4ten eine neue 5-Achsfr\u00e4smaschine der modernsten Generation zur Verf\u00fcgung. Durch eine Vollausstattung mit Sensoren lassen sich unbegrenzt Daten einer hochpr\u00e4zisen Fertigung erzeugen.<\/p>

\u201eDMG MORI gilt im Bereich der durchg\u00e4ngigen Digitalisierung als Vorreiter im Maschinenbau. Bei der Realisierung von ganzheitlichen digitalen Produkten und L\u00f6sungen spielen Sensoren eine zentrale Rolle. Ans\u00e4tze sog. Smart Sensors sind heute in vielen Anwendungen zu finden, eine kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung ist dabei zwingend notwendig. Eine Kooperation mit der Hochschule Kempten stellt f\u00fcr uns die ideale Erg\u00e4nzung zur internen industriellen Entwicklung dar und st\u00e4rkt gleichzeitig die regionale Verbundenheit\u201c<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>
